Kids Like Me offers two Spring Break Camps: Camp Sunshine and Village Glen Camp. Our virtual spring breakcamps are open to children and teens with autism spectrum disorder and other social challenges. Campers will engage in fun and interactive activities related to music, games, crafts, and more. With a focus on social skills and life skills development, campers will be placed with peers who are around the same age and ability level.
Camp Sunshine is a structured program developed for teens and young adults between the ages of 15 and 21 who have mild to moderate autism spectrum disorder and other special needs. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals oversees a creative and fun camp program designed to help each child reach his or her highest potential and develop unique strengths and abilities. We group campers by age and ability to maximize individual attention.
Our campers will enjoy fun and enriching activities in a safe and nurturing environment via Zoom. Campers build confidence and self-esteem, practice important life skills, and take steps toward independence while making new friends and having fun.
VILLAGE GLEN CAMP
Village Glen Camp is a highly specialized social skills camp developed for children between the ages of 6 and 14 with high functioning autism spectrum disorder and other social challenges. Campers enjoy a fun, creative, and enriching program specially designed to promote social skills development, foster new friendships, and create fun social learning opportunities.
